Prevent Diabetes and Lose Weight at the Same Time!

Looking good isn’t the only reason to lose weight. It just might save your life, especially if you adopt a healthy menu to lose the weight. To lose weight properly, you should be eating the same foods that can help prevent a number of life-threatening diseases such as diabetes. Obesity is a definite pre-cursor to early mortality according to many studies. If you can’t lose weight or lose weight easily, it may be due to the types of foods you are consuming, even if you are consuming small amounts.

Diabetes claims over 70,000 lives per year, and in the case of type 2 diabetes, it’s highly preventable and even reversible with dietary changes and weight loss. Let’s get a jumpstart and prevent diabetes while losing weight at the same time.

80% of all type 2 diabetes cases are directly related to being overweight or obese.

Simply by losing weight, you can lower your chances of ending up with type 2 diabetes. Excessive abdominal fat increases your chances of developing diabetes due to the inflammatory response it has on the body and the increased risk of insulin resistance.

When you take measures such as adjusting your caloric intake and exercising, you can begin to lose weight easily and lower your risk of developing diabetes. If you can’t lose weight with these measures, it’s time to look deeper into what you are eating and how it’s keeping you overweight and unhealthy.

Diet Choices that Keep You Fat

The typical American diet is full of sugar and fat and very low in vital nutrients such as phytochemicals. This has a two-fold effect.

For one, the increased amount of sugar eventually skews your body’s response to blood glucose. Low blood glucose signals hunger. This is a natural response. You need to eat because your cells rely on glucose for fuel and to then function. When you eat high amounts of sugar, your body becomes used to higher than normal levels of blood glucose. Your brain begins to signal hunger earlier, so you end up overeating.

Secondly, when your diet is high in all the wrong things and low in the right things, your body finds its impossible to ward off all the ill effects of the toxic things such as sugar and fat. This leads to hormonal imbalances, systemic inflammation, premature aging, disease… the list is endless!

A diet high in fat, not only helps you gain weight, it also contributes to heart disease and other complications. Heart disease, poor peripheral circulation and a taxed renal system are the deadly consequences of type 2 diabetes, and if your diet is also high in saturated or trans fat, you are quadrupling your risk of an early death due to heart attack or renal failure. You also run the risk of amputation and blindness due to lack of proper circulation.

Dietary Adjustments for Weight Loss and Preventing Diabetes

Consuming a natural diet that is high in whole grains, vegetables, some fruit, lean protein and good fats is the true way to lose weight and keep it off. In addition, you should consider adding a supplement that can boost your weight loss measures naturally, as well as repair some of the damage already done and reduce your chances of developing diseases or complicating type 2 diabetes.

What are some of the best natural herbs for weight loss and preventing type 2 diabetes?

Piper Betle leaf and Dolichos Biflorus seed extract works to increase adiponectin and decrease ghrelin. That's a double whammy, because adiponectin is the hormone that makes your fat cells burn fat for energy. Ghrelin, meanwhile, is the hormone responsible for making you hungry.

Green coffee bean extract from Madagascar, helps prevent carbohydrates from turning into fat. It works by inhibiting glucose absorption — which helps reduce insulin resistance. This is key because insulin resistance is a common reason why people turn almost anything they eat into fat.

An herb from Siberia: Rhodiola Rosea takes on another hormonal fat-loss barrier: cortisol. Cortisol is your stress hormone — your fight-or-flight mechanism. Elevated cortisol levels are associated with increased levels of belly fats.

Weight Loss Formula No1 by Real Dose is made from these all natural effective herbs. It is designed to help you when you can’t lose weight through dietary adjustments alone.

At my last annual physical, I received a yellow light for pre-diabetes from my doctor. She said I was just barely above normal so with a little weight loss and increased exercise, I could turn my yellow light back into a green light. I have been chubby all my life. And I have always wanted to be in good shape. Sometimes, I was not even overweight, but I was still chubby. Talk about frustrating. I had no idea why this was happening. I could never understand why my friend and I could both weigh 120 lbs and she looked awesome and I looked chubby. Well, I have come to learn that I was eating poorly my whole life. I’ve been eating all the wrong foods for 49 years.

From July to December of this last year, I was doing a bit better. I increased my exercise and changed a few eating habits, and dropped about 9 lbs. Then I hit a brick wall. Through more reading and research, I have recently learned (since the beginning of the year), that I am still not eating healthy enough. So, I am doing more, learning more and learning to eat healthier. This change is super hard, but I keep reminding myself about that yellow light for pre-diabetes and about my lifetime of chubby. I need to lose weight right now. I need to lost another 14 lbs. I am working so hard. I hope to keep learning and thus making better food choices. It’s hard to change 49 years of eating incorrectly, and I stumble sometimes, but I get right back up and keep trying. I look forward to my healthy lifestyle once I achieve my weight loss goals and change my food choice habits for good. I plan to live the rest of my life eating healthy and exercising regularly. Thanks, Denise : )

I have a 14 year old foster daughter that I have had since she was 8 years old. There is a stong possibility of various forms of abuse in her childhood….This young lady has a very poor self esteem, dresses in baggy nondescript clothing and often wears her hair over her face, and is quite overwieght, at 189 lbs at about 5’2″. Tomorrow we are going to the health centre for a glucose tolerance test, as there is diabetes in the family with her biological mom having diabetes. I understand that food very likely provides a great deal of comfort for my young lady, and she does not go for the veggies and fruit, she goes for the pb and j and carbs….I just am not sure what to do, I have tried the weight watchers method a bit, and she is not interested in it at all….do you have any suggestions.

Thank you, I personally have ordered the ultimate digestive health program for myself.
